About

Hi, I’m Steve Henry—founder of Bicycle Pump and a lifelong cyclist. I’ve been riding for over 20 years, from early morning commutes to weekend road trips and long-distance tours. I’ve had great rides and frustrating ones, and over time I’ve learned that one small thing can make a big difference: a reliable pump.

I started Bicycle Pump because I kept seeing the same problem—cyclists spending money on pumps that didn’t work well, broke too soon, or simply weren’t built for real riders. I’ve been there myself. Whether it was a mini pump that barely inflated a tire or a floor pump that gave out after a few months, I got tired of wasting time and money.

That’s why I created this site—to help other riders avoid those same problems. Bicycle Pump is a resource built on real-world use, not marketing promises. I test products myself, talk to other riders, and focus on the features that matter most: durability, ease of use, speed, and reliability.

Here, you’ll find:

Honest reviews based on hands-on experience

Side-by-side comparisons to help you choose quickly

Beginner-friendly guides that explain exactly what to look for

Tips and tools to make pump maintenance simple and stress-free

My goal is simple—to give you clear, helpful information you can trust. Every article is written in plain language and focused on solving real problems riders face every day.

Whether you’re new to cycling or have been riding for years, I want this site to be a tool you can count on. Choosing the right pump shouldn’t be a guessing game, and keeping your tires properly inflated shouldn’t be a chore.

Thanks for visiting Bicycle Pump. I’m glad you’re here. Feel free to explore the site, check out the guides, and reach out if you have questions or need help picking the right gear. I read every message and am always happy to help a fellow rider.
